Assistance and verification

AI can support source monitoring, note organisation, drafts, headline variants, metadata and editorial checks. It must not invent sources, interviews, quotations, personal experience or evidence. A model’s answer is not a reporting source, and a second model’s approval does not replace checking the underlying document.

Illustrations

Editorial comic illustrations may be AI-assisted and carry “Illustration: Betting Tribune / AI-assisted”. They communicate an idea from the reporting and must not be presented as documentary photography or evidence that a depicted event happened. The supplied Betting Tribune logo is a separate approved asset.

People and responsibility

Interviews require an actual conversation or an attributable written response. AI cannot create a guest, quote or eyewitness account. The collective editorial byline identifies the desk responsible for the current edition; individual profiles are published only for verified contributors.
