How Betting Tribune handles enquiries, reader analytics and privacy choices.
What the forms collect
The editorial contact form collects a name, email address, optional organisation and message. The advertising form also collects a company and requested format. Betting Tribune uses this information only to assess and respond to the enquiry. Newsletter subscriptions are not currently open.
Reader analytics
Betting Tribune uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page views, reading engagement, referral sources and whether site features are working. Analytics is disabled until a reader chooses “Allow analytics”. When enabled, Google may process browser and device information, approximate location derived from an IP address, page URLs, referrers and interactions, and may store analytics cookies. Betting Tribune does not enable advertising personalisation or send names, email addresses or enquiry text in analytics events.
With the same permission, Vercel Web Analytics measures public-page views and audience trends using browser and device information, referral sources and approximate location. It does not use analytics cookies. Our integration removes query parameters and fragments from the reported page URL and excludes editorial previews and non-public routes. No form contents or custom events are sent to Vercel Web Analytics.
Your analytics choice is stored in your browser. You can reopen Analytics settings in the site footer at any time. Declining analytics does not restrict access to the publication. If you previously permitted Google Analytics alone, we ask again before enabling the expanded analytics choice.
Where the information is handled
Accepted enquiries are stored in Betting Tribune’s access-controlled editorial database. Vercel provides site hosting, request delivery and consent-based Web Analytics; Neon provides the managed database used by the publication. Google provides audience analytics only after consent. Basic request metadata and a one-way anti-abuse fingerprint may be processed to protect the forms and limit repeated submissions.
Retention and contact
Enquiry records are kept only while they are needed to assess the request, respond, maintain an appropriate business record or handle abuse. Google Analytics applies the data-retention setting configured for the property. Use the editorial contact form to ask about an enquiry or request deletion; identity may need to be verified before a record is changed. This notice will be updated before newsletters or additional processors are introduced.
