Malta's gambling regulator will share its SiGMA World 2026 stand with organisations responsible for banking, business support and identity services. The Malta Gaming Authority announced the delegation on 26 October, ahead of the exhibition in Rome on 3 to 5 November.

GamingMalta, Identità, Malta Enterprise and Bank of Valletta will join the MGA under the Make It In Malta banner. For operators and suppliers considering a Maltese presence, the grouping puts several institutional contacts in one place rather than presenting regulation as the whole business setup.

A return appearance, not a new initiative

The MGA announcement describes Rome as the initiative's third major international exhibition this year, following ICE Barcelona and SBC Summit Lisbon. Make It In Malta had already debuted earlier in 2026; the new item is its planned appearance at SiGMA.

The authority says the participating organisations cover regulation, investment and business support, visa and identity services, and banking. It places the shared stand at H3-3087 and offers advance meetings through a link in its announcement.

A shared stand leaves the separate decisions intact

The release describes exhibition participation and meetings. It does not announce a new licensing framework or say that meeting the delegation guarantees a licence, visa or bank account. The named organisations remain distinct contacts, despite sharing a banner.

Tribune's guide to the companies behind online gambling follows the different roles of operators, studios and other suppliers. Those distinctions also matter when reading an industry delegation's offer: a conversation about establishing a business is not the same thing as approval to run a gambling service.

The meetings are still ahead. The announcement sets out who plans to be available in Rome; it supplies no completed deals or outcomes from the exhibition.
